Are you a writer?

Although the majority of our authors reach us through word-of-mouth, we are open for submissions. We are very friendly and it’s easy to submit to us – just get in touch by email.

For a swift response, send us a brief covering email telling us a little bit about yourself and your book, and also attach your manuscript, ideally in Word format or a .pages file.

Why choose us?

Our authors come to us because we treat each work as the individual it deserves to be. We’re an independent publisher operating on a collaborative basis. This means that the author shares some of the costs of getting their work into print, but in most other ways we operate on a mainstream publishing model, particularly in terms of how we present and distribute our titles. We’re very selective about the titles we represent. Each of our titles is creatively produced to reflect the author’s unique voice, we are friendly and approachable, and we could offer you the publishing contract you have been hoping for.

We help with marketing and exposure in the local press. We supply the mainstream distribution network so that UK bookshops can access your title easily, and also publish worldwide to Amazon and ebook. We’re unusual because we also pay generous royalties.

What are we looking for?

First and foremost, our authors are committed and enthusiastic about their work. Our submissions process is easy and at the moment we’re particularly keen to hear from authors of personal memoir, poetry and fiction.

We’re also open for submissions for children’s books, particularly for reading age children. We love stories with a connection to fairy tales or magic. Our picture books tend to feature nature and countryside.

We’re also assessing the potential for publishing stories written by children for children, so if you know a gifted young writer, get in touch!

That being said, we are happy to consider work of all genres and take each title on a case by case basis, so please get in touch.
