We love publishing children’s books for all ages, from picture books for infants, chapter books for new readers, and longer reads for older children aged 8-12 and Young Adult. Our in-house illustrator is open for submissions. We take a very personal approach with each of the titles we publish because we know that books for younger readers may well be the sort of story with the fewest words, but they are also some of the most challenging to write.
Visit our shop for examples of recent titles. Each has been designed sensitively and creatively to match the author’s unique voice. Stories for younger children are illustrated – while our in-house illustrator is very busy, opportunities are available for the right story. What are we looking for?
Our children’s authors are committed and passionate about writing for their age group. They may not have been published before, but this in no way reflects upon the quality of their work and their passion for bringing young readers a story they will treasure. We are proud to help our authors find their feet as an author of children’s books.
If you are writing for very young children and already have an illustrator working with you, please send your text as a Word document with a sample of the illustrations separately as jpegs.

We will be able to provide maps and details for books for older children. The books we publish for older children and teens tend to feature magic, mystery or fairy tales. We love stories which are unusual, and particularly those with a strong young voice.
We only publish children’s titles that we really love. A number of our titles are award-winners. We are friendly and approachable, and we could offer you the publishing contract you have been hoping for.
