What we love:
You’ll be the sort of writer who writes brilliantly but doesn’t necessarily conform to a single commercial genre. Perhaps your influences are literary, or perhaps your interests span genres.
We’re a publisher, so we are selective about the titles we publish. But one of the qualities of true collaborative publishing is that it is flexible, and very close to mainstream publishing in the way that we represent our authors to their readers. Our approach is not the same as hybrid publishing and this is not a publishing service. We are passionate about helping you to use your unique voice. If you think your writing would fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you.
We particularly enjoy light-hearted reads, literary, subtle romance, biographical fiction, light thrillers, crime and mystery (but not true crime or brutal crime), historical fiction, Young Adult, magical realism, fantasy, novellas and short story collections.
Ideally your work (or collected stories) will be between 30,000 and 90,000 words. These are only guidelines and we’re very happy to consider work of all genres and lengths. Each submission will be considered as the individual it deserves to be.
We offer excellent terms for fiction writers.
Our submission process is simple. Please send us a short introductory email telling us about yourself and your work. Also include either the full manuscript or a sample, ideally in a Word document.
